Each morning when we awake we have the opportunity to do two things right away. First, we have the opportunity to thank God for the gift of this brand new day. Second, we have the opportunity to ask ourselves, "Who can I help today?" When we start each day by opening our hearts to God and to our neighbors, we are living the life of love for which we have been created.
