Jesus commands us to love God with our whole heart, soul, and mind. Not just occasionally, not just when we feel like it. No, we are called to love God (and love one another) all the time, forever. This is the commitment that God desires us to make. God sends the Spirit to enable us to do this, for God knows we cannot do it by ourselves.
