Weekly Readings

Readings are taken from the New Revised Standard Version of the Bible

The Episcopal Church uses assigned readings from the Bible each Sunday and holy day in the church year so the Bible can be covered in a three-year period.  The use of a lectionary keeps us from reading favorite passages over and over and helps us to discover and re-discover the gems of the whole Bible.

During the Season of Pentecost, we will use Track 1 of the Lectionary.
