St. John's Episcopal Church, Roseville
Since 1978, the purpose of St. John's Family Camp has been to strengthen the friendships of our church community, surrounded by the beauty of the Sierra Nevada mountains. Family Camp is held along the Bear River, at the Donner Mine, in the area of Emigrant Gap. Campers can come for any amount of time; for one day, several days, or the whole week.
The camp has spaces for tents, RVs, and trailers. There are also several small rooms and barracks-style bunks in the rustic lodge. Meals are prepared communally with each person taking turns preparing or cleaning after meals. Camp activities include faith-based activities in the morning for adults, teenagers, and children. Afternoons have less-structured activities, such as trips to the Emerald Pools swimming hole and other attractions around Truckee.
2025 Family Camp will be:
July 27 - August 2
Come up for an entire week or just a few days!
