St. John's Episcopal Church, Roseville
Sababa comes from the Arabic word "tzababa," meaning "great" or "excellent." Sababa was adopted by Hebrew speakers sometime in the 1980s, and now it is one of the most common slang works in Israel. Check out the video below!
Sababa has expanded to have multiple meanings. It can be used as an adjective describing someone or something, and as an affirmative word.
Sababa is also used in casual conversation to show agreement, to acknowledge that you are on board, or that you're feeling fab! If that's not enough to make you understand, read out the phrases below with a friend.
